Baptism

Picture
Baptism is an initiation into the Christian church and as such is a very significant time in the life of the person being baptized, the family and the congregation as a whole.

Baptisms do require preparation and requests for baptism should be made well in advance of when you would like it to happen. The service of baptism most usually occurs during a Sunday morning, 10:00 a.m. service.
There is no charge for a baptism. Baptism is a gift from God. In thanksgiving, many families give a Thanksgiving Gift to support the ministries of the church.

You may have many questions about the age of those to be baptized, who may be baptized, who can be godparents/sponsors, what does the preparation entail, an so on.  These are best discussed with the Rector.

Interested? Please contact the church (752-4551) or complete the Contact form and we will get back to you.
